The International Radiology Day was observed on November 8, 2023 in Parumala hospital. Mr. Sanju Sivaram, a well-known film star inaugurated the event, which was presided over by the hospital chaplain Fr Jiju Varghese. This day is observed to raise awareness about the value of radiology departments and their role in healthcare. The Parumala Radiology Department which has six radiology expert doctors and over thirty paramedical staff and provides 24-hour radiology services is well-equipped for rapid diagnosis. In this department, Parumala Hospital is equal to the best radiology department in Kerala with state-of-the-art radiology technology such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography scans.
