We are thrilled to announce the inauguration of our state-of-the-art Comprehensive Stroke Centre at Parumala Hospital. This marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing advanced and specialized care for stroke patients. Our Comprehensive Stroke Centre is outfitted with the most advanced technologies, including the latest in Mechanical Thrombectomy services provided by our Interventional Neurology division. This allows us to swiftly and effectively treat blockages in the blood vessels of the brain, minimizing damage and improving outcomes for our patients.
The inauguration ceremony of Parumala International Comprehensive Stroke Center was commenced by His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Mathews III and presided by His Grace Dr. Yohanon Mar Chrysostamos. The event saw discussions on stroke, its modern treatments, and the services offered, led by key members of the neurosurgery team including Dr. Sreekumar-Senior consultant and HOD, Neurosurgery, Dr. Asheeb Abdul Hak, Consultant Neurologist and Interventional Neurologist Dr. Vishal Panicker.
The event also highlighted the significance of MRI machine and the role of the Clinical Radiology Department in Parumala Hospital, elucidated by Dr. Anirudh Nair, the head of the Clinical Radiology Department.
