Parumala St. Gregorios Medical Mission Hospital and the American Heart Association jointly launched the Parumala International Training Center. The inauguration was conducted by the CEO of Parumala Hospital, Father M.C. Paulose. The critical care medallist Dr. Sujith Thomas, Intensivist Dr. Antony Kalliyath, and Emergency Senior Consultant Dr. David Susan were part of the event. They offer Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification courses at specified intervals.
Successful completion of the classes earns students an AHA International Certificate valid for 2 years. The first class was led by Dr. Linu Abdul Latheef from the Parumala Emergency Department, along with Emergency Senior Consultant Dr. Balu P.R.S.
