Parumala Hospital marked World Heart Day with the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art Laser Angioplasty System, a first of its kind in the region. The ceremony was led by the Honorable Haripad MLA, Shri Ramesh Chennithala, on September 28th. He praised Parumala Hospital for growing from a 50-bed facility in 1975 to becoming one of the most advanced hospitals in Kerala, ensuring the safety of every heart.
The event, held at 3:15 PM, was presided over by the Kottayam Diocesan Metropolitan, H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Diascoros, with the Kollam Diocesan Metropolitan, H.G. Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius, as a special guest. Other dignitaries present included Hospital CEO Fr. M.C. Poulose, Finance Coordinator Fr. Thomas Johnson Cor episcopa, Chaplain Fr. Jiju Varghese, Medical Superintendent Dr. Sherin Varghese, Rev. Fr. Roy P. Thomas, and management committee members Alex Thomas Arikkupuram and Thomas John.
