As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Parumala Hospital on September 8, the hospital took a noble initiative by donating 50 wheelchairs to various government hospitals and palliative care centers . This philanthropic gesture was aimed at supporting healthcare facilities and providing essential mobility aids to patients in need.
The wheelchairs were distributed to Alappuzha General Hospital, Vandanam Medical College, Haripad Taluk Hospital, Kayamkulam Taluk Hospital, Mavelikkara District Hospital, and Pathanamthitta General Hospital. Additionally, Asha Bhavan and Mannar Muslim Jamaat palliative care centers also received wheelchairs, further extending the hospital’s reach to palliative care services.
