Dr. Mathews Jose, HOD and Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist, and Dr. Neethu Susan Abraham, Consultant in Palliative Medicine at Parumala Hospital, recently showcased India’s palliative care expertise at the prestigious International Palliative Care Conference in Russia.
The duo delivered an insightful paper presentation on “Palliative Care Practices in India” via an online platform, sharing their experiences and perspectives on providing holistic care for critically ill patients.
The annual conference, themed “Development of Palliative Care for Adults and Children”, is the largest educational event on palliative care in Russia. Organized by the Hospice Care Association with support from the Russian Ministry of Health, the Presidential Grants Fund, and Sechenov University, the event brought together leading experts in palliative care from around the world.
