Parumala Hospital celebrates World Kidney Day.
World Kidney Day celebration and awareness classes were conducted under the leadership of Parumala Renal Sciences & Kidney Transplant centre . The meeting was presided over by His Grace.Dr Yohanon Mar Chrysostamos. and inaugurated by Adv. Pramod Narayan M.L.A.,Ranni Constituency.
Free dialysis kits were distributed to patients as part of the social responsibility of the hospital.
“punarjani- a scheme envisaged by his holiness Baselious Marthoma Mathews III was officially launched at the meeting by adv Pramod Narayan. The scheme will support the underprivileged and needy patients who can’t afford high cost transplant surgery. Financial cost of this package will be less than 5 lakhs including donor nephrectomy and recipient transplant surgery
Consultants of Parumala urology & nephrology department who have performed 6 kidney transplants surgery in short span of time were felicitated in the meeting .
In continuation of the meeting, representatives of the medical members who have visited Parumala Hospital from Russia, Dr. Zaroy Aleksai and Father Stephen have shared their experiences about Parumala Hospital and its treatment facilities
