Paediatric Neurology
Paediatric neurology is a subspecialty branch of Neurology, which deals with neurological disorders in children.The spectrum of neurological disorders in adults and children are different, that has lead to the evolution of paediatric neurology as a separate sub speciality.
The Department provides consultative diagnostic and therapeutic services in the management of childhood Epilepsies , childhood headaches, Cerebral Palsy, Neuro infections, auto immune neurological disorders, Autism, attention deficit, hyperactivity disorder, Developmental, and learning problems, diseases of muscles and nerves , genetic and metabolic neurological diseases and all other neurological problems in children. We are also committed to Research .
We have a fully functional electro physiology lab where facilities like video EEG, BAEP, VEP, nerve conduction studies and sleep studies are available. The child development centre provides comprehensive Neuro rehabilitation services. The Department works hand in hand with departments like Neurosurgery Neurology , General Paediatrics Neonatology and Radiology
