Dr. Sreenath S

Dr. Sreenath S is our Consultant Rheumatologist. He completed his MBBS from Govt.T.D.Medical College Alappuzha, MD in General Medicine from Govt Medical College Thiruvananthapuram and DM in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology from the prestigious Institute of Rheumatology in Madras Medical College, one of the very first and premiere institute for Rheumatology training in India. Rheumatology has always been his passion right from the MBBS days; he has won various state and national level Rheumatology quiz competitions and secured one among the top ranks in the specialty entrance examination for Rheumatology. During his Rheumatology DM training, he was fortunate enough to be trained under two of the most respected and renowned Rheumatology Professors in India – Prof T.N.Tamilselvam and Prof.P.S.ArulRajamurugan. Well supported by a great Immunology lab and Physiotherapy department, he has received one of the best clinical and laboratory training for Rheumatology in India. He has also recently completed his Rheumatology training course conducted by the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology – EULAR. He has taken training in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Nail Fold Capillaroscopy, Indirect Immunoflourescence, Flow cytometry and various other clinical and laboratory skills by taking part in National and international workshops. Along with academics, he has a keen interest in Research. He has recently completed his research training and received certification in Biomedical Research conducted by ICMR-National institute of Epidemiology. He has taken part in various clinical and epidemiological studies during his MD and DM training periods and has multiple publications to his name in National level journals
