Brief Description
Dr. Sujith M Thomas is our Consultant Intensivist, with more than 10 years of experience in the field of Intensive Care Medicine. After completing MD from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education Research, Chandigarh (PGIMER) he went on complete the fellowship in critical care medicine (FNB) from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai accredited to the National Board of Education, New Delhi (NBE). He has completed the European Diploma In Critical Care Medicine (EDIC) examination conducted by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) in 2014.
After completing his super-specialty in Critical Care Medicine, he went on to work in the Department of Critical Care Medicine in KIMSHEALTH Thiruvananthapuram, from 2013 to 2021.
He has vast experience managing critically ill patients requiring advanced life supports from both medical and surgical subspecialties including trauma. He is especially interested in managing sepsis with multiorgan failure, polytrauma, post-surgical patients, and acute respiratory failure.
