International Nurses Day Celebration was observed at St. Gregorios Medical Mission Multi-Speciality Hospital on 12th May, 2021. Nurses are the backbone of any healthcare institute. We at SGMMH remembered our Nurses tireless efforts during this pandemic by honouring them on this International Nurses day. It was a quiet but colourful event following all Infection control norms. It began with a benevolent appreciation from CEO Fr. M.C Poulose over the PA system followed by distribution of mementos for all nurses. The memento distribution was inaugurated by Medical Superintendent Dr. Sherine Joseph by giving it to Chief Nursing Officer Sis. Annamma. There was a very colourful participation from Nuclear medicine department to celebrate this day by creating 3D model of a nurse in PPE suit and other artifacts to signify the efforts of nurses during these trying times.
