On the behalf of 1st-year celebration of the Parumala Cardiology Department, the hospital conducted Marathon from Kadpra Junction and Store Junction. Dysp Thiruvalla T. Rajapan inaugurated the marathon from Kadpra Junction and Dysp Cheganoor Dr.R.Jose inaugurated the marathon from Store Junction.

St. Gregorios Medical Mission Hospital was inaugurated on the 11th of September 1975 with just 50 beds and 3 departments. The Hospital grew to the status of a Multi-Specialty Hospital with 250+ beds and most modern facilities over forty-nine years.
